THE OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Build brains as an Early Years expert

The experiences we have in the early years of life shape our developing brains, and growing sense of self, which is why positive physical, emotional and cognitive development within an environment of thriving relationships during this period is so crucial.

As an EY expert, you play a critical role in nurturing young children’s wellbeing and building key skills to ensure they develop a wonder and curiosity for learning, and strong foundations for their academic journey.

Think about someone who took real interest in you during your early years, the impact they had, the difference they made. Now it’s your turn to be the inspiration for future generations.

Inspired's Director of Early Years

“There is a lot of science behind our approach to Early Years at Inspired. We’re passionate about people joining us who share our ambition to make a positive difference to all our children. At its simplest, Early Years is about helping young humans think for themselves. It’s about encouraging, challenging and celebrating all children at the most important time of their lives. What they learn with you in their first five years, will shape the person they become for the rest of their life.”

Marianne Valentine, Inspired’s Director of Early Learning

Head of Early Learning School, Reddam House Berkshire

"What I love most about working in Early Years is the difference you make to the children. You’re helping them become young, confident learners.

There is a clear career path where you can go from a junior specialist to managing your own room of children and colleagues, to leading an entire school. This was my path, I have never stopped learning, never stopped feeling proud of seeing the children develop and grow.

Inspired is the best place for an Early Years career. While you invest your energy, passion, and efforts into the children, we invest in you. From funding your qualifications, flexible working and offering the opportunity to work abroad, we want to make sure you’re recognised and rewarded for the difference you make."

Since joining Inspired, the support and encouragement I have received have been fantastic - we’re such a great team. Every single one of us is focused on and passionate about the development of the children here.

If you’re passionate, patient and playful, then a career in Early Years is perfect for you. Being at the centre of a child’s development through helping them learn, communicate and play is something that is so special. It’s much more than a job, it’s a responsibility to help shape future generations."

Emma Walker
Head of Early Learning School, Davenport Lodge

"My passion for working with young children began when babysitting. When I left school, I started a nursery apprenticeship. One of my proudest moments was receiving employee of the month there at just 16. I remember thinking to myself that one day I’d love to be the manager of my own nursery, and today that dream is a reality.

I've been at Davenport Lodge Nursery School since 2005, progressing through multiple qualifications and promotions, including a BA with Honours in Early Childhood Studies, and a level 7 in management and leadership.

Early Years is a demanding yet rewarding career, offering the chance to shape children's lives. If you're passionate about giving children the best start, love to play and laugh, and enjoy teamwork, it's could be the career for you."

An Early Years career is demanding, but we make it worth your while
